Just a quick reminder that the presale for The Unspeakeasy’s coed retreat in NYC ends at midnight on Sunday, June 2. If you're a yearly subscriber, you can still grab your spot for $1,000. Tickets are selling fast, and in addition to having great guest speakers, we’re thrilled to see that so many of you are joining us.
To take advantage of the discount, upgrade your subscription and go down to the bottom of the page, past the paywall, to get the discount code.
This retreat is going to be unlike anything we’ve done before. It’s coed (yes, men are welcome), slightly larger than our usual gatherings, and stacked with amazing speakers: John McWhorter, Mike Pesca, Carole Hooven, Alana Newhouse, Peter Moskos, Lisa Selin Davis, Ben Appel, Andrew Hartz—and more names still to be announced.
We’ll spend the weekend diving into topics like:
Does masculinity matter?
Is a city only as good as its policing?
Does the mental health field need mental help?
How will history look back on the gender movement?
Should art care about our feelings?
This retreat is designed so you can engage directly with the speakers and with each other. There will be panels, small group conversations, meals, hangouts, and the kind of off-the-record moments that make these events so meaningful.
If you’re already a yearly subscriber, here’s your chance to join us for $1,000 off the regular retreat price. If you’re not a yearly subscriber yet, you can still upgrade now and claim the offer before Monday at midnight.
Hope to see you in New York this October,
Meghan
