How can you protect my writing and creative work from being altered, changed or taken out of context?

Not to alarm you, but there are people out there who can really mess up your work if you let them. There are editors who take out your best stuff and write in stuff that you’d never write yourself. There are headline writers who slap on clickbait titles that have nothing to do with what you wrote. There are art directors who illustrate your story with provocative, even offensive graphics that eclipse the story itself.

Most of these people aren’t doing anything wrong. They're just doing their jobs. But that means you have to do your job, which is to protect your work as if it’s your offspring. Because, let’s face it, it is your offspring.
